We are Top Dutch Solar Racing!

We are a unique multidisciplinary team of motivated students with different fields of expertise, ranging from engineering to communication, that build a highly efficient solar car for solar challenges around the world.

TEAM ARROW

We are a solar car racing team from Brisbane, Australia. We primarily make vehicles for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, competing since the team was founded in 2013. We have also raced in the iLumen European Solar Challenge and Abu Dhabi Solar Challenge.

SOLAR TEAM TWENTE

Solar Team Twente is the winner of Solar Challenge Morocco 2021; a tough solar race over 2.500 kilometres through the deserts and high mountains of the North-African country. An Alumni team will participate in Oman in 2023.

TEAM SOLARIS

We are a team that was established in 2003 and with the pride of producing Turkey’s first solar-powered vehicle in 2005 we have obtained several achievements in this field and have successfully represented our country abroad since then.

TOKAI UNIVERSITY SOLAR CAR TEAM

Tokai Challenger is a solar car from the Japanese Tokai University. The Tokai Challenger became the winner of the 2009 and 2011 World Solar Challenge, a race for solar cars across Australia.[1] The car is designed and tested in collaboration with students from Tokai University and several Japanese companies in the automotive industry

PETROL INSTITUTE SOLAR TEAM ABU DHABI

The Petroleum Institute’s solar car project, the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates, began in Fall 2013. The project is run by a group of students and faculty from the electrical and mechanical departments of PI. The team is currently working hard to finish the first PI Solar Car, which will be called Yas1. The team intends to use this car in international solar car competitions such as the World Solar Challenge.

SOLAR ENERGY RACERS

Global warming and dwindling supplies of fossil fuels dominate our times. The desire for mobility will remain so in the near future, a steady requirement. Each of us leaves his footprint in the environment – every day. Concerned about sustainability and a responsible approach to the environment, the SOLAR ENERGY RACERS do in terms of energy and mobility a step in the future

NITEC SOLAR RACING

It started as an applied research in the Umeno laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (at that time), which was researching solar cells in 1992, and started as a club activity in 1995. Since then, the students themselves have been making machines and running teams.

CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY ECO RACING

CUER is a team of Cambridge Students who design, build, and race solar powered vehicles. We take part in a 3000km race in Australia from Darwin to Adelaide with 40 of the best teams from around the world.

KOGAKUIN UNIVERSITY SOLAR TEAM

We set a new record for the World Green Challenge 2016 and won the overall championship. WGC16 is a famous solar car competition in Japan. The first competition was held from 1993, and Kogakuin University set the record for a total of 1035 cars that participated in the 24 years and set the maximum number of laps.

APOLLO SOLAR CAR

The Apollo Solar Car Team was founded in 1998. It was the first solar car team in Taiwan. Professor Herchang Ay has been in charge of the team since 1998. Most of the team members are engineering students. The funds to develop the solar cars mainly came from the National Science Council and the Ministry of Education. The Apollo solar car team has so far developed 5 vehicles.
